Friday, 10 January 2014 13:44

Ben Ebbrell, is cooking up a storm with the SORTED Crew as founder and chef for the global online cooking channel.  We worked with them a couple of years ago and since then they have gone on to achieve amazing success.

SORTEDFood is back to focusing on what really spurs him on… quick, simple, tasty grub to share with mates and the opportunity to help other novice cooks enjoy food as much as he does!

Ben is currently co-presenter for CITV/ITV’s new Saturday morning show ‘Munch Box’ which sees Ben setting challenges for young enthusiastic chefs.

Ben was winner of Good Food channel’s Market Kitchen national search for the next celebrity chef and in 2011 and was a winner of SquareMile magazine’s 30 under 30 Talent Award. In addition undertaking TV appearances on the BBC’s Young Apprentice, Jamie and Jimmy’s Food Fight Club and Perfect. Together with the young team of school friends at SORTED they are winners of the BANFF World Media Award for ‘Best Online Entertainment Program’ 2011, finalist in the food category at the 2012 Shorty Awards and Winner of Educational Website of the Year 2012. Ben recently appeared on Channel 4′s new lunchtime series ‘What’s Cooking’.

Sorted have more than 347,000 subscribers and 5000 hours of their content are watched globally every day, making them the largest YouTube channel in Europe. This puts Ben and the team at the front of the UK’s largest YouTube cooking community online. They also produce content for other channels, including Jamie Oliver’s FoodTube. Oliver describes them as ‘a truly lovely bunch of lads who are great at the business of YouTube.’ That doesn’t, however, stop them getting involved in live demos at universities up and down the country, at the Real Food Festival and at the BBC Good Food Show.

Most recently the boys have teamed up with Penguin and have recently published their second Sorted title, ‘Food with Friends’, but this time exclusively as an ebook. Ben has also recently started presenting ITV’s brand new children’s series ‘Munchbox’ in which he oversees children’s culinary skills being put to the test!

The Sorted boys are really ones to watch in 2014 as it seems they are taking over the World!
