‍

We will aim to provide as much notice as reasonably possible should any such change be required.

‍

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable under the laws of any jurisdiction, that provision shall, to the extent required, be treated as deleted or modified.

‍

The remaining provisions of these Terms & Conditions shall continue in full force and effect.

10. Governing Law

‍

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

‍

The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms & Conditions, subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

11. NO GUARANTEE OF EMPLOYMENT

‍

The Presenter Studio does not guarantee or promise any student future employment, presenting work, casting opportunities or other professional engagements.

12. trainers

‍

Training programmes will be delivered by either Gareth or Leon, and occasionally by both.

‍

The Presenter Studio reserves the right to determine which trainer delivers a particular programme.

13. TALENT DATABASE AND WORK OPPORTUNITIES

‍

Presenters become eligible for consideration for inclusion on The Presenter Studio Talent Database once they have completed either the Fast Track Programme or One-to-One Training Programme and have also booked an edit of their Talent Taster Tape.

‍

‍

The Presenter Studio is not a sole agent or talent agency. We aim to put presenters forward for suitable opportunities where we believe there is a good fit, as part of our commitment to supporting and developing new talent.

‍

To remain on the Talent Database, presenters are asked to keep us regularly updated on their presenting work, experience and availability.

‍

If we have not heard from you for a period of 6 months or more, we reserve the right to remove you from the Talent Database.

‍

If you are shortlisted for a presenting opportunity, we will contact you with details of the opportunity, including the relevant terms and conditions and details of The Presenter Studio's involvement.

‍

You must have signed the relevant contract before The Presenter Studio can put you forward for work.

‍

Where The Presenter Studio sources or facilitates presenting work for you, we will take 20% of the fee paid to you, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

14. RETENTION OF FOOTAGE

‍

The Presenter Studio retains client footage for up to 2 months following filming.

‍

If you book an edit or request access to your footage after this period, we cannot guarantee that the footage will still be available.

‍

We therefore strongly recommend that any editing requirements are arranged within this 2-month period.

15. USE OF OUR TRAINING MATERIALS

‍

Our presenter training programmes are designed for individuals and businesses participating in our training.

‍

Our training materials, course names, course descriptions, website content, exercises and hand-outs are the intellectual property of The Presenter Studio and must not be copied, reproduced, duplicated, adapted or used to create or deliver similar training programmes or services without our prior written permission.

‍

This restriction particularly applies to trainers, coaches and other individuals or businesses operating within the training and coaching industry.

16. RECORDING OF TRAINING

‍

Clients are not permitted to photograph, video or otherwise record The Presenter Studio trainers, staff or other clients during training programmes without our prior permission.

17. FAST TRACK DEPOSIT SCHEME

‍

Where you have booked a Fast Track Programme using our deposit scheme, the £200 deposit must be paid directly to The Presenter Studio by bank transfer.

‍

The deposit is valid only for the date originally booked and is non-refundable.

‍

The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 3 weeks before your scheduled training date.

‍

Once the deposit has been paid, you may request to change your training date, subject to availability. A £100 transfer feewill apply.

‍

Requests to change your date must be made more than 4 weeks before the original training date.

‍

If you cancel your booking, or request to change your date, 4 weeks or less before your scheduled training date, any money already paid is non-refundable.

18. STRIPE, GOOGLE PAY AND APPLE PAY PAYMENTS

‍

Where a booking or payment is made through Stripe, payment processing fees may be charged to The Presenter Studio by the payment provider.

‍

These processing fees are not refunded to The Presenter Studio if a payment is subsequently refunded.

‍

Where The Presenter Studio agrees to issue a refund for a payment made through Stripe, the refund will therefore be calculated as follows:

‍

Original payment – payment processing fee – £100 processing fee = refund amount.

‍

The payment processing fee will be the actual fee charged to The Presenter Studio by Stripe for the original transaction.

‍

For example, if you paid £1,350 through Stripe and the applicable Stripe processing fee was 1.5% + £0.20, the processing fee would be £20.45.

The refund would therefore be:

‍

£1,350 – £20.45 – £100 = £1,229.55

‍

The £100 processing fee applies in addition to any payment processing fee charged by Stripe.

‍

Refunds can only be requested within 2 months of the original booking date.

‍

By completing a booking or payment through Stripe, you acknowledge and agree to this refund policy.

19. RIGHT TO CANCEL A BOOKING

‍

The Presenter Studio aims to provide a positive, professional and supportive environment for all clients.

‍

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse a booking where, at our reasonable discretion, an individual's behaviour or conduct is inappropriate or inconsistent with the respectful and collaborative environment we aim to maintain.

‍

This may include, but is not limited to, rude, abusive, threatening or otherwise inappropriate behaviour towards our team or other clients.

‍

Where The Presenter Studio cancels a booking under this clause, our standard cancellation and refund provisions will apply, except where otherwise required by law.

‍

We reserve the right to refuse future bookings where we consider this necessary to protect our staff, clients or business.

By making a booking with The Presenter Studio, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
