OUR OWN LEON GETS TO WORK WITH THE PRIME MINISTER

So it’s not every day you get an invite to Number 10 Downing St. And last week our own Leon got to knock on the door at Number 10 and worked with our Prime Minister Andy Burnham.

It was a dream come true for Leon as the Co-Executive Producer on Gogglebox, where each year the team books a select few celebrities to join the cast for the Stand Up To Cancer special. They always think outside the box and think of who feels current, fresh and exciting so they can help raise money for a worthy cause.

Leon instantly thought of PM Andy Burnham. He’s been making sure that he’s front and centre of the Labour Party, and as a leader he feels very different to the approach Sir Keir Starmer took. So when the team put in the bid for Andy Burnham they were nervously excited that it might be a project that he could accept.

And when the positive reply came back Leon couldn’t have been more excited.
